Генерального дир. ц., одноврем. – дир. ин-та дет. онкологии.Док. дис. на тему «Лечение опухоли Вильмса у детей», проф. (1967). Разрабатывает проблемы дет. онкологии, в частности, хирургич. лечения; выявил критерии дифференциальной диагностики опухолей взрослых и детей; определил показания и противопоказания к проведению химиотерапии и лучевой терапии опухолей у детей в зависимости от возраста ребенка, распространения и локализации процесса; изучает вопросы гипертермического лечения опухолей у детей и применения иммунокоррегирующих препаратов в детской онкологии.Засл. деятель науки РСФСР (1980), гл. ред. ж. «Дет. онкология».Соч.: Злокачественные опухоли почек у детей.
