ANISIMOV (bürgerlicher Name Nisim-oglu) Ilya Sherbetovich (1862, Bezirk Tarki Temir-Khan-Shurinsky in der Region Dagestan - |), Ethnograph. Der Sohn eines Rabbiners, der erste Bergjude, der an der Woloschin-Jeschiwa studierte. Er absolvierte die Highland School und die Stadt Stawropol. Ab 1884 studierte er in Moskau in Moskau. Окончил горскую школу и г-зию в Ставрополе. С 1884 в Москве, учился в Моск. техн. уч-ще, выступал с рефератами о горских евреях, по инициативе проф. Моск. ун-та В.Ф.Миллера (к-рого А. познакомил с родным татским яз.) занялся изучением этнографии горских евреев. В 1886 по поручению Моск. археол. об-ва совершил поездку на Кавказ для сбора сведений о горских евреях. По результатам поездки составил этнографо-стат. иссл. «Кавказские евреи-горцы» (опубл. в «Сб-ке мат-лов по этнографии», в. 3, М., 1888 и отд. оттисками), к-рое долгое время было единств. серьезной науч. работой о горских евреях. В 1890–1910-х гг. А. – единств. горский еврей с высш. образованием.
