С 1918–23 работал в Моск. отд. охраны материнства и младенчества, рук. разработкой инструкций по работе яслей, консультаций, домов младенца. В 1923 Д. в дет. больнице им. Н.Ф.Филатова организовал и возглавил грудное отд., дет. и жен. консультации, отд. для больных детей ст. возраста, дом младенца и молочную кухню. В 1926–30 вел курс болезней раннего дет. возраста на курсах усовершенствования врачей, в 1931 возглавил кафедру педиатрии раннего возраста 2-го Моск. мед. ин-та. (проф.) Науч. деятельность Д. посв. изучению проблем желудочно-кишечных болезней, гриппа, гонореи у детей.
