BASIN Moishe (1889, Gomel - 1963, New York), Literaturkritiker, Dichter. Er studierte am Cheder, dann beschäftigte er sich mit Selbstbildung. Wurde in die Armee eingezogen, führte das Brüllen. Propaganda unter den Soldaten. Seit 1907 in den USA. Er debütierte 1908 als Dichter. Erschienen in Zeitschriften. ed., mit Poesie, Essays, Märchen in Poesie für Kinder sprechen. Sein Verszyklus gewann an Popularität. über den Baal Shem Tov. CH. B.'s Werk ist eine Anthologie "500 Jahre jüdische Poesie" (Bd. 1–2, 1917–22). 1940 veröffentlichte B. die Anthologie "Amer. Heb. Poesie".
