PODLISHEVSKY Avraham (1862, Bezirk Novogrudok, Provinz Minsk - 1929, Warschau), Persönlichkeit des öffentlichen Lebens. Ab 1880 - in Warschau. Unter dem Einfluss von N. Sokolov schloss er sich dem Zionisten an. Bewegung. In regelmäßigen Abständen zusammengearbeitet. ed. auf Hebräisch. Am 8. Zionisten, Congr. (1907) wurde als Vertreter der polnischen Zionisten in das Leitungsgremium der Bewegung gewählt. In den Jahren der 1. Welt. Krieg war damit beschäftigt, jüdischen Flüchtlingen zu helfen. 1916 - einer der Gründer der Wochenzeitung. auf Hebräisch "Ha-Am" (Moskau). 1917 beteiligte er sich aktiv an jüdischen Gesellschaften, dem Leben in Russland. Seit 1918 - in Polen; Mitglied Zionistisches Zentralkomitee. Organisation Polens; Mitglied Zeit. Nat. Rat. Er leitete die Repräsentanz von Keren ha-Yesod in Polen.

He headed the representative office of Keren ha-Yesod in Poland.

Сотрудничал в периодич. изд. на иврите. На 8-м Сионист, конгр. (1907) был избран в руководящий орган движения как представитель польских сионистов. В годы 1-й мир. войны занимался помощью еврейским беженцам. В 1916 – один из основателей еженед. на иврите «Га-Ам» (Москва). В 1917 активно участвовал в еврейской обществ, жизни в России.
