Пьесы Г. «Дос вильнер балебесл», «Барух Спиноза» и др. ставились на сценах амер. евр. т-ров. Одна из лучших пьес – комедия «Ин йедн гойз» («В каждом доме»), поставл. в 1924 «Кунст-театром» Мориса Шварца. Г. перевел на идиш произв. Л.Толстого, О.Бальзака, Г.Мопассана, А.Чехова, М.Горького, Л.Андреева, Э.Золя и др.
