Shubin Semyon Petrovich (1908, Libava Grobinsky u. Kurland Gubernia - 1938), Physiker. Dr. Phys.-Math. Sciences (1935), prof. (1935). 1927 absolvierte er die Moskauer Staatliche Universität und studierte an der Graduiertenschule bei L. I. Mandelstam. 1927 wurde er aus der KPdSU ausgeschlossen (b), weil er an der trotzkistischen Opposition teilgenommen hatte. 1928 wurde er verhaftet und nach Ischim (Ural) verbannt. In den Jahren 1931 bis 1932 arbeitete er auf einer Baustelle in Magnitogorsk. In den Jahren 1932 bis 1937 der Kopf. Abteilung und früh. theoretisch Gruppe der Ural Phys.-Tech. in-das. Sci. arbeitet an der Theorie der Schwingungen, Physik des Fernsehens. Körper, nat. Statistik, Quantenelektrodynamik, Feldtheorie. Joint. Mit IE legte Tamm den Grundstein für die Quantentheorie des photoelektrischen Effekts in Metallen. Joint. mit S.V. baute Vonsovsky ein polares Modell von Ferromagneten. Wissenschaftlich erstellt. Schule in Swerdlowsk. Veröffentlicht 18 wissenschaftliche. funktioniert. 1937 wurde er unterdrückt.

In 1931–32 he worked at a construction site in Magnitogorsk. In 1932–37 the head. department and early. theoretical group of the Ural Phys.-Tech. in-that. Sci. works on the theory of oscillations, physics of TV. body, nat. statistics, quantum electrodynamics, field theory. Joint. with IE Tamm laid the foundations of the quantum theory of the photoelectric effect in metals. Joint. with S.V. Vonsovsky built a polar model of ferromagnets. Created scientific. school in Sverdlovsk. Published 18 scientific. works. In 1937 he was repressed.

ШУБИН Семен Петрович (1908, Либава Гробинского у. Курляндской губ. – 1938), физик. Д-р физ.-матем. наук (1935), проф. (1935). В 1927 окончил МГУ, учился в аспирантуре у Л.И.Мандельштама. В 1927 исключен из ВКП(б) за участие в троцкистской оппозиции, в 1928 арестован и сослан в Ишим (Урал). В 1931–32 работал на стр-ве в Магнитогорске. В 1932–37 зав. кафедрой и нач. теоретич. группы Уральского физ.-техн. ин-та. Науч. работы по теории колебаний, физике тв. тела, физ. статистике, квантовой электродинамике, теории поля. Совм. с И.Е.Таммом заложил основы квантовой теории фотоэффекта в металлах. Совм. с С.В.Вонсовским построил полярную модель ферромагнетиков. Создал науч. школу в Свердловске. Опубликовал 18 науч. работ. В 1937 репрессирован.
