Autor von Werken über Afrasian: Semitic, Berber (Libyan-Guanchian) usw. Einer der Autoren von kollektiven wissenschaftlichen. tr. "Schriftliche Denkmäler und Probleme der Kulturgeschichte der Völker des Ostens" (Ausgabe 1–3. M., 1981–86) und „Linguistic. Wiederaufbau und die älteste Geschichte des Ostens “(Teile 1-3. Moskau, 1984–89).

Moscow, 1984–89).

Ин-та востоковедения АН СССР, одноврем. с нач. 1990-х гг. преподает в Еврейском ун-те в Москве. Автор работ по афразийским яз.: семитским, берберским (ливийско-гуанчским) и др. Один из авторов коллективных науч. тр. «Письменные памятники и проблемы истории культуры народов Востока» (вып. 1–3. М., 1981–86) и «Лингвистич. реконструкция и древнейшая история Востока» (ч. 1–3.
