TUNKEL David Vladimirovich (1905 - 1966, Moscow), director. In 1927 he graduated from the theater. school at Moscow. t-re of the Revolution and became a member of the troupe of this t-ra. In 1936–66 he worked at the Center. Dr. Kr. Army (Soviet. Army). Participated as dir. in post. performances: "The Deed" by A.V.Sukhovo-Kobylin (1940), "A long time ago" by A.K. Gladkov (1942), "The Commander" by K.A. Trenev (1945). They are independent. directorial works: "Enough simplicity for every wise man" by A. N. Ostrovsky (1942), "Meeting with youth" by A. N. Arbuzov (1948), "The Pacific Ocean" by I. L. Prut (1949), "Barbarians" by M .Gorky (1955), "Bright May" and "Good Men" by LG Zorin (1958), "Anchor Square" by IV Shtok (1960), "Physics" by F. Dyurrenmatt (1965) and others. Staged performances and in other t-ts: in Moscow. satire - "The fourth vertebra" by M. Larney (1961), "Guriy Lvovich Sinichkin" by V. A. Dykhovichny, M. R. Slobodskoy and M. Chervinsky (1963), in the T-re stage and miniatures - "Blots" by Dykhovichny and Slobodsky (1959), "Wolves in the City" by L.R.Sheinin (1965) for M.V. Mironova and A.S. Menaker. On television, he staged a television show "If You Only Knew!" G. Gulia, (1965). He taught at GITIS. Honored. figure in lawsuits in the RSFSR (1954).

Slobodskoy und M. A. Chervinsky (1963) im T-Re-Stadium und Miniaturen - "Blots" von Dykhovichny und Slobodsky (1959), "Wolves in the City" von L. R. Sheinin (1965) für M. V. Mironova und A. S. Menaker. Im Fernsehen inszenierte er ein Fernsehspiel "If You Only Knew!" G. Gulia (1965). Er unterrichtete an der GITIS. Geehrt. Zahl in Klagen in der RSFSR (1954).

Самостоят. режиссерские работы: «На всякого мудреца довольно простоты» А.Н.Островского (1942), «Встреча с юностью» А.Н.Арбузова (1948), «Тихий океан» И.Л.Прута (1949), «Варвары» М.Горького (1955), «Светлый май» и «Добряки» Л.Г.Зорина (1958), «Якорная площадь» И.В.Штока (1960), «Физики» Ф.Дюрренматта (1965) и др. Ставил спектакли и в др. т-рах: в Моск. т-ре сатиры – «Четвертый позвонок» по М.Ларни (1961), «Гурий Львович Синичкин» В.А.Дыховичного, М.Р.Слободского и М.А.Червинского (1963), в Т-ре эстрады и миниатюр – «Кляксы» Дыховичного и Слободского (1959), «Волки в городе» Л.Р.Шейнина (1965) для М.В.Мироновой и А.С.Менакера. На телевидении поставил телеспектакль «Если бы вы только знали!» Г.Гулиа, (1965). Преподавал в ГИТИСе. Засл. деятель иск-в РСФСР (1954).
