В 1940-е гг. установила общность реакций необратимого катализа для всех шестичленных моно- и бициклич. углеводородов, имеющих в цикле или в боковой цепи кратные углеводородные связи; обнаружила (1947) изомеризующее действие оксида хрома (III) по отношению к непредельным углеводородам; предложила способ синтеза циклопропановых углеводородов на осн. дигидробромидов диенов сопряженного строения. Открыла (1950) ацетилен-диеновую перегруппировку, реакцию размыкания циклопропанов под действием ларов ртути, ароматизацию аддуктов диенового синтеза (1953), а также аддуктов диенов с акриловыми кислотами. Dihydrobromide konjugierter Diene. Entdeckt (1950) die Acetylen-Dien-Umlagerung, die Reaktion der Cyclopropanöffnung unter Einwirkung von Quecksilberlaren, die Aromatisierung von Addukten der Diensynthese (1953) sowie Addukte von Dienen mit Acrylsäuren.
