GOROVITS Shimon (1865, Lida, Provinz Wilna - 1946, Motsa), Rabbiner und Kabbalist. Ab 1882 - in E.-I. Er studierte an der Etz Chaim Yeshiva, studierte Kabbala an der Beit-El Yeshiva. 1899 machte er sich auf die Suche nach zehn Stämmen Israels. War in Indien, Tibet, China. 1923 veröffentlichte er das Buch. über ihre Reisen. 1906 gründete er die Ashkenazi Kabbalistic. Yeshiva Shear Ha-Shamayim.
