GINTSBURG Iona Iosifovich (Osipovich) (1871, M. Gusyatin, Provinz Kamenetsky u. Podolsk. - 1942, Taschkent), Orientalist-Semitologe, Arabist und Hebraist, Cand. Lit-Wissen (1935). Habe einen Handel. Heb. Bildung. 1889 kam er nach Odessa, wo er als externer Student Prüfungen für einen Gymnasialkurs ablegte. 1901 trat er in die arabisch-hebräische Sprache ein. Niederlassung von Petersburg. un-that (auf Anfrage der Professoren, die das Interview geführt haben, mehr als 2% der Norm eingeschrieben). 1905 schloss er sein Studium mit einem Diplom 1. Grades ab, jedoch wegen des Widerspruchs von prof. P.K. Kokovtsov wurde nicht bei den Un-jenen gelassen, um sich auf prof vorzubereiten. Rang. In den Jahren 1905–07 Sek. Regierungszeit der Chorsynagoge in St. Petersburg und ihrer Friedhofsverwaltung. 1908 beteiligte er sich an der Schaffung. Orientalistik Kurse Bar. DG Gintsburg unterrichtete 1909-13 den Talmud und den Araber. lang., beteiligte sich an der Umstrukturierung der Kurse in den Jahren 1916-17. In den Jahren 1918–20 Sek. Rat der Hebräer. Gemeinden von Petrograd, 1919 einer der Gründer von Heb. Philanthrop, about-va und Heb. über-va der gegenseitigen Unterstützung. 1923 beteiligte er sich an der Schaffung. Petrogr. (Leningrad) Heb. religiös Gemeinschaft, war ihre Sekretärin. vor der Liquidation (1929). 1920–24 - in Petrograd. in-denen höher. Heb. Wissen (Vortrag über den arabisch-hebräischen Liter, unterrichtet auf Arabisch). 1927 präsentierte er an der Leningrader Staatlichen Universität eine Arbeit über das Weltbild der Hebräer. Mi-Jahrhundert. Rationalisten erhielten das Recht, wissenschaftlich zu handeln. arbeitet (1928–33 Forscher an der Leningrader Staatlichen Universität). Ab 1934 in Leningrad. dep. Das Institut für Orientalistik der Akademie der Wissenschaften der UdSSR arbeitete an der Beschreibung der Manuskripte von Heb. Fund, veröffentlichte seine "Übersicht" (in dem Buch: "Bibliography of the East", v. 10, M.-L., 1936), bereitete doc. dis, hatte aber keine Zeit, es im Zusammenhang mit dem Ausbruch des Krieges zu verteidigen. ГИНЦБУРГ Иона Иосифович (Осипович) (1871, м. Гусятин Каменецкого у. Подольской губ. – 1942, Ташкент), востоковед-семитолог, арабист и гебраист, канд. лит-ведения (1935). Получил трад. евр. образование. В 1889 приехал в Одессу, где сдал экстерном экзамены за курс гимназии. В 1901 поступил на арабо-евр. отделение Петерб. ун-та (зачислен сверх 2% нормы по ходатайству профессоров, проводивших собеседование). В 1905 окончил ун-т с дипломом 1-й ст., но из-за противодействия проф. П.К.Коковцова не был оставлен при ун-те для подготовки к проф. званию. В 1905–07 секр. правления Хоральной синагоги в Петербурге и его Кладбищенского управления. В 1908 участвовал в созд. Курсов востоковедения бар. Д.Г.Гинцбурга, в 1909–13 преподавал на них Талмуд и араб. яз., участвовал в реорганизации курсов в 1916–17. В 1918–20 секр. Совета евр. общины Петрограда, в 1919 один из учредителей Евр. благотворит, об-ва и Евр. об-ва взаимопомощи. В 1923 участвовал в созд. Петрогр. (Ленингр.) евр. религ. общины, был ее секр. до ликвидации (1929). В 1920–24 – в Петрогр. ин-те высш. евр. знаний (читал лекции по арабо-евр. литре, преподавал араб. яз.). В 1927 представил в ЛГУ работу о мировоззрении евр. ср.-век. рационалистов, получил право на ведение науч. работы (в 1928–33 науч сотр. ЛГУ). С 1934 в Ленингр. отд.
