GURARIY Shmariyahu (Samaria Mendelevich) (1898, Kremenchug, Poltava province. - 1989, New York), rabbi. He studied at the "Tomkhey Tmimim" yeshiva (Lubavichi). Son-in-law of I.I.Shneerson. Left Russia in 1927.Since 1940 - to the USA. For more than half a century, he headed everything. the system of Lubavitch yeshivas.
