РЫВКИН Оскар Львович (1899, Петербург – 1937, Москва), политический деятель. С 1917 чл. РСДРП(б). Один из организаторов и секр. Петрогр. соц. союза раб. молодежи (ПССРМ), ком. отряда Кр. гвардии, сформированного из чл. ПССРМ. В дек. 1917 – апр. 1918 участвовал в боях против белогвардейцев на Ю. России. С 1918 секр. к-та ПССРМ, ред. журн. «Юный пролетарий», чл. Петрогр. Совета. Делегат 1–3-го съездов РКСМ, избирался чл. ЦК РКСМ, представлял его на заседаниях Оргбюро ЦК РКП(б) и в Наркомпросе; преподавал в Коммунистич. ун-те им. Я.М.Свердлова, в 1918–19 пред. През. (Бюро) ЦК, 1-й секр. ЦК РКСМ. В 1921–24 учился на курсах марксизма при Коммунистич. академии, в 1929–34 – в Ин-те красной профессуры. С 1924 на парт. работе в Нижегородской губ. и в Краснодаре. В 1927–34 чл. ЦК ВКП(б), избирался чл. ВЦИК. В 1937 арестован, расстрелян.
