Institute of Evolutionary Physiology of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. works on the physiology of the autonomic nervous system, the mechanisms of regulation of water-salt metabolism and evolutionary physiology. In 1923, he established (with his teacher Orbeli) that a tired skeletal muscle restores its working capacity when the stimulus innervates it is irritated. nerve (Orbeli-Ginetsinsky phenomenon); found out the spatial arrangement of cholinergic. substance in the muscles, its transformation during ontogenesis. Installed main. patterns of evolution of the neuromuscular connection. Gave an analysis of the traumatic. contractures, offered the basis for their classification and forecasting. Etc. Of the USSR Academy of Sciences I.P. Pavlova (1944) Cit .: Physiological mechanisms of water-salt equilibrium, M.-L., 1963.
