ГОРОДЕЦКИЙ Ефим Наумович (1907, Винница Подольской губ. – 1993, Москва), историк, д-р ист. наук (1965). В 1926–28 учился в пед. техникуме в Киеве, в 1928–30 – на ф-те общ. наук МГУ. В 1931–33 аспирант МИФЛИ, в 1933 42 науч. сотр. редакции «История гражд. войны в СССР». В 1942–49 работал в аппарате ЦК ВКП(б), одноврем. преподавал в ВПШ и АОН при ЦК ВКП(б). В 1949–60 преподавал в МГУ. В 1960—89 работал в Ин-те истории (с 1968 Ин-т истории СССР) АН СССР, был зам. пред. Науч. совета АН СССР «История ист. науки». Член редколлегий: ежегодника «История и историки» (1965–87) и сб. «Ист. записки» (1970–90).Автор работ по истории России нач. 20 вв., эпохе Окт. рев-ции и гражд. войны, проблемам методологии, историографии, источниковедения и истории сов. культуры. Участвовал в создании ряда колл. трудов и монографий. Мн. работы Г. переведены на иностр. яз.Стал. пр. (1943), Ломоносовская пр.
