Boris Yakovlevich LEVIN (* 1906 in Odessa - 1993, Kharkov), Mathematiker. Dr. Phys.-Math. Sciences (1939). Prof. Prof. (1939). Er absolvierte die Universität in Rostow am Don (1931) und absolvierte dort die Schule (1935). Er arbeitete an der Universität Odessa (1935–41), am Odessa Institute of Water Transport Engineers (1937–49), am Kharkov Mining Institute (1949–55), an der Kharkov University (seit 1955) und an der Phys.-Tech. Institut für Niedertemperaturen der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Ukrainischen SSR (seit 1968). Die wichtigsten Ergebnisse der Forschung. beziehen sich auf die Theorie der Funktionen und func. Работал в Одесском ун-те (1935–41), Одесском ин-те инженеров водного транспорта (1937–49), Харьковском горном ин-те (1949–55), Харьковском ун-те (с 1955), Физ.-техн. ин-те низких температур АН УССР (с 1968).
