Об-во выпустило ряд книг по евр. истории: Э.Ренан «История израильского народа» (2 т., в. 5; 1908–12), сб. «Пережитое» (1900), М.М.Марголин «Вавилон, Иерусалим, Александрия» (1923) и др. С 1917 изд-во входило в Петрогр. объединение частных изд-в, но фактически находилось в Берлине, где под рук. брата Е.Семена просуществовало до нач. 30-х гг.
