Seit April 2009 promoviert sie im Bereich Medienwissenschaft, ihr Dissertationsprojekt beschäftigt sich mit der Darstellung jüdischer Figuren im deutschen Spielfilm nach 1945. Sie ist Promotionsstipendiatin der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung und seit April 2010 Mitglied der Graduate School Media and Communication des RCMC.
