Seit Nov. 1920 bis zu seinem Tod Landesrb. in Oldenburg. Mitglied im Nordwestdeutschen Rabbinerverband und der Kaiser-Friedrich- Loge Bremen Mitglied der Agudas Jisroel. Erhielt 1917 das „Verdienstkreuz für Kriegshilfe“. Verh. mit Anny Markhoff aus Dortmund (geb. 1889 1939 Emigration über England nach Rhodesien) Kinder: Josef, Miriam (verh. mit Rb. Leo Trepp), Susanna (verh. Lessem).
