Sohn des Juda E., dreizehn Jahre lang Schüler Akiba Egers in Posen, lebte von 1828-44 als „Bürger und Grundbesitzer“ in Oborniki (Obornik), Prov. Posen, dort Schriftführer des 1829 gegr. Wohltätigkeitsvereins Däväq t. ov [Jes. 41,7] erlangt die Naturalisation aufgrund des Gesetzes vom 1. Juni 1833. 25. Sept. 1845 Rb. in Pleszew mit Jahresgehalt von 332 Tl. er hat laut Vertrag einmal monatlich zu predigen. Der mit seiner Schulaufsicht unzufriedene Vorstand entläßt ihn zum 1. Apr. 1847, geht aber am 6. Mai von seiner Klage ab.
