Promotionsprüfung in Heidelberg, 19. März 1907 Promotion. 1909-1919 Rb. in Aussig (Ústí nad Labem), Böhmen während des 1. WK königlichkaiserlicher Feldrabbiner. 1919/20-1922 zweiter Rb. in Stuttgart, zusammen mit Julius Cohn 1926-1934 Rb. in Schneidemühl (Piła) und Bezirksrb. der Grenzmark (Posen-Westpreußen). Organisierte den Provinzialverband für jüdische Wohlfahrtspflege Vorsitzender des Landesverbands Grenzmark, der jüdischen Jugendvereine Deutschlands und Abgeordneter des Preußischen Landesverbandes jüdischer Gemeinden in Berlin. 1927 im Ehrenausschuß der Wohlfahrts-Lotterie der „Arbeitsgemeinschaft zur Bekämpfung der Tuberkulose unter den Juden“. Mitglied und Präsident der Salo Adler-Loge Schneidemühl (um 1929). August 1934 Rb. der Alt Schul in Prag.
