Placzek in Boskovice (Boskowitz). 1865 Rb. in Postoloprty (Postelberg), Nordböhmen, verlegt den Rabbinatssitz in die Stadt Žatec (Saaz), 1870 erster Rb. der neugegründeten Gem. in Znojmo (Znaim), Mähren, wo er zugleich an der Landesoberrealschule als Supplent für Französisch und Ordinarius der 2. Klasse fungiert. 1872 Rb. in Bzenec (Bisenz), Mähren, 1877 Rb. in Graz. Begründer von Frauen- und Armenverein (1878 bzw. 1882), Übersetzer für das Hebräische am Gericht. Gast der Hoftafel bei allen kaiserlichen Besuchen in Graz1898 wurde er dekoriert mit dem „Goldenen Verdienstkreuz mit der Krone“.";
