WK Feldhilfsrabbiner, Rb. in Berlin-Charlottenburg an der Synagoge Bismarckstraße und Münchener Straße, um 1916/1919-1933 Leiter und Lehrer und Dirigent der Talmud-Tora „Knesseth Jisrael“-Mittelschule in Berlin. 1929 von der Berliner Jüdischen Gemeinde zum Prediger und Gemeinderabbiner gewählt, tätig an der Synagoge Kaiserstraße. Mitglied in der Vereinigung der traditionell-gesetzestreuen Rabbiner Deutschlands1933/34 in den Ruhestand, 1934 Emigration nach PalästinaZionist. 1936-1939 zweiter Rb., Lehrer und Prediger der Gemeinde „Ih. ud Šivat-S. iyon“ in Tel Aviv. Seit 1906 verheiratet mit Betty Samuel (gest. 1918), vier Töchterzweite Ehe mit Frieda Winter.";
