Wegen heimlichen humanistischen Studien, die er bei den Ärzten Dr. Gumpertz und Dr. Kisch betreibt, verweist ihn der Oberrb. von seiner Schule. Hauslehrer in Modra (Modern), Slowakei, und Besuch des Gymnasiums dortim Studienjahr 1846/47 imm. an der Universität Wien, nach der Revolution 1849 nach Pestauf Empfehlung von Oberrb. Löb Schwab wird er Rb. in Lugoj (Lugos), Siebenbürgen. Danach Rb. in Zrenjanin (Nagybecskerek), Woiwodina, 1859 Rb. in Rychnov (Reichenau), Ostböhmen, und Religionslehrer am örtlichen Gymnasium. 30. März 1863 prom. Jena1863 Rb. in Chodová Planá (Kuttenplan) bei Marienbad, Westböhmen, welches Amt er 1866 gedrängt durch „gewichtige Motive“ niederlegt.";
