Konsistorium 1812 zum „provisorischen Landesrb.“ mit 200 Tl. Gehalt ernannt, welches Amt er auch nach der Restauration behält. In der Frage der frühen Beerdigung zeigt er sich fortschrittsfreundlich, gilt aber bei der Regierung wegen seiner schwachen Deutschkenntnisse für das Amt als ungeeignet. Seine drei Söhne Bär (1785), Gabriel (1788) und Nathan (1803) werden Rb.\nletzterer folgt ihm 1829 im Landesrt.";
