has abstract: Sohn des Itzig b. Menachem in Leszno, war dort vor 1770 bis nach 1803 Dajan und gehörte zum Freundeskreis Akiba Egers. Vor 1812 zum Rb. nach £êczyca berufen, Gemeinde von ca. zweitausend Juden, die 1815 an Rußland kommt. Er war Lehrer des Breslauer Rb. Gedalia Tiktin und von Rb. Issaschar in Czêstochowa (Tschenstochau). Sein Sohn Isaak-Itzig A. war sein Nachfolger in £êczyca dessen Sohn Meir A. wurde 1857 Rb. in Kalisz (Kalisch) und starb 1878 als Oberrb. in Jerusalem.
