- Sohn des ersten Akiba Eger, der seit 1747 Rb. in Biała (Zülz) in Oberschlesien sowie seit 1754 Rb. in Preßburg war, und der Jitel Leidsdorf, Tochter des Sabel L. aus Wien. Zehnjährig vom Vater verwaist, verheiratet mit Rebekka Fränkel (geb. 1749), Tochter des Breslauer Oberrb. Joseph Jonas F. in dessen Haus in der ul. œw. Antoniego (Antonienstraße) Leiter einer Jeschiwa, wo um 1774-79 sein Neffe Akiba Eger studiert kurzzeitig Rb. in Biała, 1781 Rb. in Lipník.
