- Sohn des Rb. Moses Cohn in Golub Dobrzyñ (Gollub), jüngerer Bruder des Rb. H. Cohn in Lubawa (Löbau), lernt nach seiner Bar-Mizwa an verschiedenen Jeschiwot, geht ca. 1846 nach Berlin, dort Studienfreund von Wolf Feilchenfeld und Leiser Lazarus an der Universität. Vom Berliner Rabbinat ordiniert, auf dessen Empfehlung und jene von Aron Hirsch Heymann ca. 1858/62 Rb. in Złotów (Flatow), Prov. Westpreußen. Lebt um 1879 in Berlin.
