- 1880-1881 Gymnasium in Hersfeld, Abitur ab 1882 Univ. Berlin, 1883-1888 RS, 3. Juli 1888 Promotion in Halle ordiniert und als Rb. nach Hannover berufen. Ging nach drei Jahren als Prediger an die Deutsch-israelitische Tempelgemeinde Krakau dort bis um/ vor 1899. Eventl. identisch mit Samuel Isaac Landau, der 1902-1912 als Rb. in Sochaczew, Provinz Warschau, amtierte. Auch Bibliothekar und Archivar. Er starb kurz nach seinem 90. Geburtstag.
