Verheiratet mit Gella Berg, Tochter des Fürther Gemeindevorstehers Wolf B., Handelsunternehmer in Fürth, lehnt rabbinische Würden zunächst ab, verliert aber sein erheiratetes Vermögen als Teilhaber des Fürther Hofjuden Gabriel Fränkel. Wird daraufhin 1733 Rb. der Ganerbschaft Rothenberg mit Sitz in Schnaittach, 1742 Landesrb. des Fürststifts Würzburg mit Sitz in Heidingsfeld, am 10. Aug. 1742 durch Fürstbischof Friedrich Karl bestätigt. 1763 redigierte er das Heidingsfelder Gebetbuch nach den liturgischen Ortsbräuchen\nmit dem Arnsteiner Regreß vom 27. Jan. 1772 wird er auch von den Juden der unterfränkischen Ritterschaft als Rb. anerkannt. Seine zweite Frau Esther Gumpel (gest. 1768) war eine Tochter des angesehenen Marx Lion Emrich aus Wien und Witwe des Frankfurters Jakob Speier.";
