- Sohn des Rb. Meir Löb Levit und der Sara Blumenau, Schüler der Prager Jeschiwa des Ez. Landau, um 1781 Rb. in Spálené Poříčí (Brennporitschen) in Westböhmen 1784 Königgrätzer Kreisrb. in Náchod, Ostböhmen. Als Nachfolger seines Vaters 1792-1795 Bidschower Kreisrb. in Hořice, um 1807 Rb. in Velké Meziříčí (Groß-Meseritsch), Mähren. Durch den Großbrand vom 9. Mai 1823 um seine Habe gebracht, verläßt er die Stadt und stirbt in Polná, Ostböhmen.
