The Budget for the WIZO's social welfare institutions and activities, which are carried out to their largest extent by the Palestinian WIZO Federation (partly in conjunction with the Hadassah Medical Organisation and the Council of Women Workers of Palestine), amounted to £P. 13,500, whereof £P. 7,900 was raised in Palestine and £P. 1,000 was received as a grant from the Women's Appeal Committee in Great Britain for German Refugees. Ante-natal care has been introduced by adaptation of the system in operation at the centres of the Hadassah Medical Organisation. The last mentioned section of the work was financially supported during last year by the Tel Aviv Municipality.
