The instructor visited all the large and small towns with a Jewish population, and considerably advanced Zionist interests in those places. 3. Propaganda. Apart from the appointment of an instructor, the Federation made use of all opportunities to organise public meetings to spread the national idea and Zionist ideals among the Jewish masses. The cultural department attached to the Federation published several leaflets in Spanish intended for the Youth, and for those to whom Spanish is the only familiar language. Similarly, articles on Zionist subjects and on outstanding Jewish and Zionist personalities were prepared by the Executive for the Press. 4. Special resolutions were also passed with respect to Jewish education in the Argentine. 5. Youth Societies.—A considerable improvement is also noticeable among the Zionist Youth Societies. Many of these societies, which formerly assumed a general cultural character, have recently turned into fully Zionist groups. 6. Wizo.—A very important and valuable part is played by the Women's Zionist Organisation in the Argentine. The scope of its work and its influence is constantly expanding and this organisation conducts an intensified and consistent activity for Zionism in general and especially for its own particular purposes. 7.
