— 44 — anniversary publications issued with more or less regularity by practically all the Groups, and issued after the first six months in Hebrew. In a certain sense also the faithful use of the Hebrew language may be taken as a sign of identification with the Jewish will-to-be. All the Kibbutsim report the joy of the young people in their work in the field, in the garden, in the workshop, in the kitchen, in the babies' house. On the other hand, more or less frequent complaints are voiced, that there is a tendency to cut lessons. Yet, only in rare instances does the complaint include the lessons in Hebrew language. It is interesting to note, that, as the educational undertakings and activities of the Kibbutsim have profitted from the presence of the Youth Groups, so also their sanitary condition has been ameliorated by reason of the demands made on behalf of the Youth Groups. Grateful appreciation is also due for the valuable services rendered by the various Departments of the Jewish Agency, which all put their machinery at the disposal of the Youth Immigration Movement without stint. The Tables attached to this Report reveal that in the last two years certificates have been granted on a diminishing scale. The last certificates were received in August, 1936, when 100
