FINANCIAL REPORT OE THE PALESTINE ZIONIST EXECUTIVE EOR THE PEEIOD OCTOBER 1ST, 1927 TO SEPTEMBER 30TH, 1928. INTRODUCTORY NOTE. 1. The report attached hereto contains the Balance Sheet per September 30th, 1928 of the Palestine Zionist Executive and the Income and Expenditure account for the year 5688 (1st October 1927—September 30th, 1928) with additional detailed Schedules. 2. The Palestine Zionist Executive was composed during the period under review of Col. F. H. Kisch, Mr. H. Sacher and Miss H. Szold. The Treasurer of the Palestine Zionist Executive was Mr. S, A. Van Vriesland. 3. The budget for the year 5688 adopted by the XVth. Congress at Basle amounted to L. P. 631,832 which amount included L. P. 102,832 for the Hadassah Medical Organisations, L. P. 10.000 for the Kupat Cholin contributed by the Hadassah Women's Organisation in America and L.P.I30.000 for budgets payable directly by the Keren Hayesod. In this way the regular budget of the Palestine Zionist Executive amounted to L.P.389,000 of which L. P. 382,000 was to be received from the Keren Hayesod and L. P. 7000 from repayment of loans in Palestine. The following Table shows the budget in detail.
